Wema Bank has announced plans to celebrate its 80th anniversary by rewarding 80 customers with cash prizes in the 80th daily draw of its ongoing 5 for 5 Promo Season 4.
The virtual draw, scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2025, at 4 p.m., will randomly select winners from active customers who have transacted using the ALAT App, *945#, or the Wema/ALAT debit card.
Launched in 2019, the 5 for 5 Promo has disbursed over N150 million to thousands of customers across Nigeria. The initiative is designed to reward loyal customers for their continued engagement with the bank’s products and services.
Season 4 of the promo, which began on October 1, 2024, features a total cash prize of N135 million distributed through daily, weekly, and monthly draws, culminating in a grand prize where one lucky customer will win N5 million. So far, over 2,000 customers have won cash prizes ranging from N5,000 to N1 million.
To qualify for the special 80th draw, customers must make at least one transaction via the designated channels. Both new and existing customers can participate, regardless of their location in Nigeria.
The draw will be broadcast live on Wema Bank’s official Instagram (@wemabank) and YouTube (@WemaBankofficial) channels, allowing viewers worldwide to follow the event in real-time.
