9mobile Partners with ALX Nigeria for "Pitch Your Business" Competition to Empower Young Entrepreneurs

9mobile collaborated with ALX Nigeria for the “Pitch Your Business” competition, aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs to actualize their business aspirations. The competition showcased nine finalists selected from learners across various ALX programs and hubs. Judith Ekwunife of Marvel Personality emerged as the winner, securing a prize of five hundred thousand Naira, followed by Oluwatosin Mogbadunade of PlannedPath Consults and Odunayo Oladimeji with the business name CancerCompass as first and second runners-up, respectively, receiving Three hundred thousand Naira and Two hundred thousand Naira.

Chineze Amanfo, PR Lead at 9mobile, expressed the company’s commitment to fostering innovation and supporting entrepreneurial growth, emphasizing their dedication to nurturing young talents and promoting creativity in Nigeria’s economy. She highlighted 9mobile’s role as a tech-driven telecommunications company focused on promoting innovative entrepreneurship ideas.

Seun Babajide-Duroshola, Country Growth Marketing Manager at ALX Nigeria, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the organization’s focus on equipping learners with essential tech skills and nurturing their entrepreneurial capabilities to achieve business goals. The competition provides a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to present innovative business ideas that positively impact their communities.

This partnership signifies 9mobile’s dedication to providing a platform for young visionaries to showcase their ideas and receive support to bring their innovative concepts to life. The telecom company aims to encourage and empower young individuals to thrive and succeed in their entrepreneurial ventures.
