Airtel, Microsoft, TD Africa unveil Super Internet Bundle to bolster SMEs' Productivity

Airtel Nigeria has announced a partnership with Microsoft, leading tech and solutions distribution powerhouse, TD Africa introducing Smartbox, an office Internet bundle specifically created to to boost the productivity of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria.

In addition to many other perks, the Airtel Office Internet Smartbox bundles give SMEs unrestricted access to reasonable data plans, free business domains, Microsoft 365 licenses, unmatched Internet speed, and complementary data.

The Smartbox can support 32 connected devices and has a guaranteed minimum speed of 40 Mbps with the option to block access to particular websites.

Airtel will cooperate with TD Africa, a Microsoft-approved distribution partner, to guarantee a flawless rollout of the Smartbox bundle to customers.

Commenting on the partnership to unveil Office Internet Smartbox, Director, Airtel Business, Airtel Nigeria, Ogo Ofomata commended Microsoft and TD Africa for collaborating with Airtel to develop a comprehensive value offering that will empower small and medium business owners to become more productive, more profitable, and more successful, while delivering value to their respective stakeholders.

“With Airtel Office Internet Smartbox offering, we are providing entrepreneurs, founders, and SME owners the most important tool/resource they need to build agile and performing teams, scale their businesses as well as actualize all their goals. It is our belief that this offering will help transform the SME landscape in Nigeria,” Ofomata said.

The partnership will leverage the considerable reach of TD Africa and its massive database of channel partners to take the cutting-edge internet bundles across the nooks and crannies of Nigeria.

“This partnership enables Microsoft’s Africa Transformation Office to advance its goal of building digital assets and capabilities in African SMEs. Microsoft believes that empowering SMEs through access to product bundles, tools and resources will positively impact employment and wealth creation, adding to economic growth on the continent,” says Gerald Maithya, Startups & SME Lead, Africa Transformation Office.

With Office Internet Smartbox, users can share files with 1TB Cloud Storage per user, host online meetings and video calls for up to 300 people, use the web and mobile versions of Office apps such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, among others.

Other benefits of using the Airtel Office Internet Smartbox Bundle include a free business domain for one (1) year, 3 Microsoft 365 Basic Licenses, 240GB complimentary data valid for 60 days and an additional 10GB daily upon expiration of paid bundle.

With the Airtel Office Internet SmartBox, you can also create a team site to share information, content, and files through an intranet, control who can access your business information with security groups and custom permissions, plan schedules and daily tasks and gather feedback from customers and employees and many more.
