The LBS-BOI Business Innovation Accelerator (BIA) is an initiative of Lagos Business School (LBS) in collaboration with the Bank of Industry (BOI). This program aims to provide high-quality entrepreneurship training and empowerment to Nigerian entrepreneurs across the 6 geo-political zones of Nigeria with the objective of cultivating and scaling impact-driven entrepreneurs who use for-profit business models to effectively provide
solutions to address while fostering positive societal transformation.

The program has so far covered two regions of Nigeria; South West and North Central Regions of Nigeria, training over 120 entrepreneurs in these geo-political zones.

The 3rd cohort of the Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program is to cover the Southeast region of Nigeria; and the Southeast region: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, or Imo.

The program helps entrepreneurs embark on a transformative journey on how to scale their businesses and equips them with the knowledge, support, and connections needed to thrive and become a global industry leader in the 21st century as Nigerian entrepreneur.

Accelerator Program Modules
The 9-month Accelerator program comprises of four (4) modules:

1. Entrepreneurship Orientation & Business Management Training: In this 6 weeks training, entrepreneurs will learn essential business skills and entrepreneurial orientation for sustainable growth in their business and get a MiniMBA from Lagos Business School.
2. Apprenticeship/Technical Mentoring: In this 6 months phase, entrepreneurs develop
specialized skills and gain hands-on experience by apprenticing with established industry leaders to excel in their industry and boost their entrepreneurial capabilities.
3. Training on access to market (2 weeks): Entrepreneurs get guidance from experienced
entrepreneurs and facilitators on how to expand their market reach, access the export market (AFCFTA), and accelerate their growth.
4. Training on access to funding (2 weeks): Entrepreneurs learn and explore sustainable
funding opportunities to accelerate their business growth potential. At the end we host an Investor Pitch event that brings together a curated selection of profitable impact-driven entrepreneurs and investors.

Who is this Program for?
● Your business should be an existing business and registered with the Corporate Affairs
Commission (CAC)
● Your business should be an innovative business and have significant potential to scale
● Your business should be in specific sectors, especially in the Agricultural &
Manufacturing industry
● Your business should be located in the South-East Region of Nigeria; Abia, Anambra,
Ebonyi, Enugu or Imo
● You should be physically available for the first phase of the program for 6 weeks in
Lagos
