YABATECH to Integrate AI and Robotics in Curriculum
Share

Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) is set to revolutionize its academic curriculum by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics to equip students with skills essential for the rapidly evolving job market. Plans are underway to replace the computer science course with AI, robotics, and other skills-related courses, positioning the institution at the forefront of educational innovation.

The Rector, Dr. Ibraheem Abdul, emphasized that incorporating cutting-edge technologies into the curriculum aims to prepare students for the 21st-century global job market. The institution plans to establish an AI and robotics hub dedicated to research and development in these technologies. This hub will serve as a collaborative space for faculty, students, and industry professionals to work on innovative projects pushing the boundaries of AI and robotics.

The rector stated, “Artificial Intelligence and other skills-related courses will be replacing the computer science course from the next session.” This strategic move reflects YABATECH’s commitment to positioning students to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by the ever-evolving digital era.
