Bluetti Donates Solar Power Kits to Empower Rural Families in Ogun State
Share

Renewable energy solutions leader, Bluetti, donates 50 solar power kits to impoverished rural families in Ilaro, Ogun State, through its Lighting an Africa Family (LAAF) project. The strategic donation aims to address energy deficiencies in Africa, specifically targeting the power challenges faced by rural dwellers and enhancing access to clean and reliable energy.

Bluetti distributed solar power kits to residents selected based on their commitment to community development and the need for a reliable power source. Each kit includes a battery pack, solar panel, and LED bulbs to provide households with power during electricity outages. Bluetti also supplied t-shirts to every family and distributed notebooks and pens to children present during the event.

Jefferey Zhang, the Country Manager of Bluetti, demonstrated hands-on training on the optimal use of solar power kits during the donation event. Expressing Bluetti’s commitment to philanthropy through the LAAF project, Zhang emphasized the goal of improving the lives of African rural dwellers facing long-standing power supply challenges.

The Otun-Iyaloja of Ilaro Markets, Mrs. Christianah Oduoye, who sought Bluetti’s intervention, expressed profound gratitude for the generous support. Bluetti’s donation addresses the longstanding power scarcity in the Ilaro community, positively impacting residents’ lives. The LAAF project serves as a beacon of hope, symbolizing a step towards sustainable development by bringing electricity to African households in need.
