TEF Set to Empower 1,200 African Entrepreneurs in 10th Cohort Announcement
Share

On March 22, 2024, the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) unveiled its 10th cohort of the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme, set to transform the lives of 1,200 entrepreneurs across 54 African countries.

As a leading African philanthropic organization, TEF is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and driving continent-wide change. This latest cohort continues the Foundation’s mission to nurture Africa’s most promising talent and propel them toward success.

Over the past decade, TEF has tirelessly supported young African entrepreneurs, equipping them with essential tools for success. Through its flagship program, entrepreneurs have received top-notch training, mentorship, funding, and access to a valuable network of peers through the TEF Alumni Network.

With an impressive track record of over 400,000 jobs created and $100 million directly invested in African entrepreneurship, TEF has significantly impacted the continent’s economic landscape. Additionally, the Foundation’s digital platform, TEFConnect, has provided capacity-building and advisory services to over 1.5 million Africans, further bolstering entrepreneurial growth across the continent.
