Dangote Refinery Cuts Diesel Price to N940/Litre
Share

Dangote Refinery has further reduced the price of diesel from the previously reported N1000/liter to N940/liter for customers purchasing 5 million liters and above from the refinery.

The Head of Communications, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, announced the new price, emphasizing the company’s commitment to alleviating the economic challenges faced by citizens.

For customers buying one million liters and above, the price of diesel is set at N970/liter, while aviation fuel is priced at N980 per liter.

Chiejina stated, “Dangote Petroleum Refinery has again announced a further reduction in the prices of both diesel and aviation fuel to N940 and N980 per liter respectively.”

He also mentioned the strategic partnership with MRS Oil, allowing the public to purchase diesel at N1,050 per liter and aviation fuel at N980/liter nationwide. This partnership will be extended to other petroleum marketers across the country.

The initiative to lower diesel prices aligns with the company’s objective to contribute to reducing inflation in the country. Prior to this reduction, the company had slashed diesel prices to marketers to N1000 per liter a few days ago, marking a significant reduction from the previous market price of around N1500 per liter.
