In celebration of Africa Day, Co-creation Hub (CcHUB) is proud to announce the launch of “Let’s Build, Africa,” an innovative market entry program designed to empower African startups to expand their horizons and enter new markets within the continent.
“Let’s Build, Africa” is a strategic initiative aimed at supporting startups that are poised for cross-border growth but require strategic insights and support to navigate new ecosystems. CcHUB is committed to fostering economic integration and innovation across the continent.
By the end of the program, startups will have made substantial progress in entering new markets, forging valuable partnerships, and setting themselves up for investment and growth. This development will have a significant impact on fostering intra-African trade and collaboration within Africa, thereby driving economic growth and fostering innovation across the continent.
Program Objectives
- Facilitate Cross-Border Expansion: Support startups in gaining insights and access to new markets across Africa.
- Strengthen Intercontinental Ties: Foster collaboration and investment opportunities between startups and local stakeholders in target markets.
- Boost Economic Integration: Contribute to the economic integration of the African continent by facilitating easier market access for innovative businesses.
Program Components
- Pitch sessions to potential partners, collaborators, and investors.
- Travel, ecosystem tours, and one-on-one meetings with potential customers, collaborators, and investors.
- Six months post ecosystem tour support to strengthen market linkages made during ecosystem tours.
- Experience tailored ecosystem tours in one of the focus countries: Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, or Namibia.
- Access to Market Opportunity Packs (MOP) on insights into the countries the innovators will visit.
- Opportunity to showcase your products to a curated audience of collaborators, investors, and potential customers.
Eligibility
- The startup must be registered in an African country.
- At least one of the founders must be an African national.
- The startup should be at the scale up stage.
