Project Enable Africa, in collaboration with the Ishk Tolaram Foundation, proudly announces the successful completion of its Business Support Program, specifically designed to assist businesses led by Persons with Disabilities (PWD) in Lagos State. This initiative aimed to provide essential business training, mentorship, and resources to help these businesses thrive despite ongoing challenges.
Participant Engagement
The program brought together 20 innovative entrepreneurs with disabilities.
It offered comprehensive training, resources, and one-on-one mentorship to help participants develop and scale their businesses.
Training and Mentorship
The program commenced on May 7, 2024, with an onboarding session.
Participants engaged in a series of thought-provoking sessions covering various entrepreneurial strategies.
Topics included human-centered design thinking, business formalization, product development strategies, funding linkages, legal strategy, human resource management, digitalization, and financial management.
Program Culmination
The initiative concluded with an inspiring exhibition and certification ceremony on May 17, 2024.
Participants shared insights from the 2-week-long program, highlighting the practical business skills they acquired and how these would help scale their businesses.

Olalekan Owonikoko, COO, represented the Executive Director at the closing ceremony, delivering a goodwill message.
He encouraged the entrepreneurs to apply the knowledge and skills gained to grow their businesses.
