Logidoo, a leading African logistics platform, has announced the launch of its groundbreaking *China-West Africa* trade corridor, a strategic initiative designed to streamline and accelerate trade between the two regions. This move marks a significant step in Logidoo’s mission to enhance logistics solutions and foster economic growth.
The trade corridor, established after Logidoo’s participation in the prestigious C-START program, represents a collaborative effort with Chinese companies, formalized in August 2024. Tamsir Traore Ousmane, CEO of Logidoo, highlighted the initiative’s potential impact, stating, “Our China-West Africa corridor is set to redefine how businesses operate across these regions.”
Key features of the new corridor include faster shipping times and simplified logistics processes, addressing one of the most critical challenges faced by businesses trading between China and West Africa. Logidoo’s service offers comprehensive freight management, from small parcels to large containers, with streamlined customs handling to minimize delays and reduce complexities.
Initially, the corridor will focus operations in Senegal, leveraging Logidoo’s strong presence in the region, with plans to expand into other West African nations such as Mauritania, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, and Guinea. This initiative supports Logidoo’s broader vision of becoming a leader in African logistics by facilitating both intra-African and international trade.
Logidoo integrates advanced logistics technologies, including Afridoo’s Transport and Warehouse Management Systems (TMS and WMS), to deliver superior service quality. The China-West Africa corridor is set to bridge continents and foster new opportunities for businesses, contributing positively to economic development in both regions.
