The 8th Annual Campus Training Tour by The Hive Network Africa, themed “Activate – Vision to Venture,” has been igniting entrepreneurial passion across Nigerian universities. The initiative aims to equip young minds with the tools and knowledge to transform innovative ideas into thriving businesses.
Kickoff at University of Benin
The tour began on November 29th, 2024, at the University of Benin, featuring an impressive lineup of speakers:

- Kevwe Modupe (Chairman, TSLNigeria)
- Asemota Izoduwa (Executive Director, Edo Innovates)
The speakers delivered actionable insights to inspire participants in their entrepreneurial journeys.
Empowering Students at University of Ilorin
On December 7th, 2024, the tour moved to the University of Ilorin, where participants benefited from the expertise of:
- Dr. Abigail Iyilade (Assistant Director, ARMTI)
- Kamaldeen Kehinde (Managing Partner, MALHub)
The event focused on business strategies and personal development, offering students practical knowledge to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape.
Unique Opportunities
A key highlight of both events was the free Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration for selected participants. This initiative allows budding entrepreneurs to officially register their businesses, a significant step toward formalizing their ventures.
Next Stop: University of Lagos (UNILAG)
The tour’s next destination is UNILAG, where more young entrepreneurs will gain access to opportunities, insights, and connections to fuel their ambitions.
A Vision for Africa’s Future
Alex Adams, Executive Director of The Hive Network Africa, emphasized the transformative potential of Africa’s youth:
“The potential that lies within the African youth is immeasurable. They can transform the entire continent, only if we help them harness that immense power. Achieving the Africa of our dreams is possible if the youths are well equipped.”
The Hive Network Africa is a non-profit, non-political organization focused on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development for African youths aged 15-35. With over 50 conferences and empowerment programs across 15 countries, the network has positively impacted more than 14,500 individuals.
The Campus Training Tour continues to serve as a crucial platform for empowering young Africans to become agents of change and pillars of their communities.
