Language Enhancement Systems Laboratory Ltd (Lenhs Lab Ltd), a leading training organization, is proud to announce the launch of Authentic Bilingual Education (AB-LE) and Bilingual Education for Reinforced National Identity (BERNI) in Lagos State. This innovative program has been approved and endorsed by the Lagos State Ministry of Basic & Secondary Education.

The AB-LE and BERNI programs aim to promote bilingual education, cultural heritage, and national identity in public and private schools across Lagos State. The initiative seeks to:

– Create awareness around Reinforced National Identity.

– Reinvigorate the use of Language of Immediate Community (LIC) in combination with English language

– Deconstruct the misrepresentation of indigenous languages as “vernacular ” and promote acceptance for bilingualism at all levels of teaching.

– Help Nigerians speak their languages and stem the tide of language extinction

– Foster a solid sense of authentic National Identity, embracing communicative competence over linguistic imperialism

“We are thrilled to launch this groundbreaking program in Lagos State,” said Mr. Obasa Gbolabo, Senior Partner, Lenhs Lab Ltd. “Our goal is to empower the next generation of Nigerians to be proud of their national identity, cultural heritage and language, while also acquiring proficiency in English language.”

The AB-LE and BERNI programs will be implemented in phases, starting with a pilot launch in both public and private schools in Lagos State. Lenhs Lab Ltd will provide training and support for teachers, as well as students.
