Santander Corporate and Commercial Banking is teaming up with global business transformation firm Dentsu to develop a digital platform that will help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) expand internationally.
Scheduled for launch in the second quarter of 2025, the platform will provide SMEs with vital market insights, exclusive discounts, and tailored services to simplify global trade. By offering these resources, Santander aims to give businesses the confidence and tools they need to enter new markets successfully.
Over the next five years, the platform will extend its reach to 45 countries, including 10 of Santander’s key markets. Dentsu will lead the design, development, operations, and marketing of the platform, using technology from major partners like Adobe, Amazon, and Salesforce.
This initiative comes on the heels of Santander’s recent expansion of its digital banking arm, Openbank, into the US and Mexico. It underscores the bank’s commitment to digital innovation and its mission to support SMEs in navigating the complexities of global business.
