How to apply for the FCMB-FMO AgriTech Investment Readiness Program 2025 (Up to N20 million in grants)

The FCMB-FMO AgriTech Investment Readiness Program is a national initiative to help Nigeria’s most promising Agritech startups and SMEs become truly fundable, scalable, and sustainable.

The Investment Readiness Program will provide you with ₦20m in funding, advisory, market exposure, and exclusive ecosystem access to grow your agritech business.

Key Program Dates

  • Applications Open: August 8, 2025

  • Application Deadline: September 12, 2025

  • Program Duration: October 1 – October 31, 2025

  • Demo Day (Pitch Event): November 7, 2025

Who Should Apply?

You should apply if you’re:

  • A Nigerian agritech startup or SME operating within the agricultural value chain

  • Running a business with a viable model, proven traction, or consistent revenue

  • Looking to raise capital, secure grants, or access investment and market opportunities

  • Prepared to participate fully in a 6-week bootcamp, mentorship sessions, and Demo Day

  • Entry into an intensive 6-week bootcamp on capital planning, investment readiness, and growth strategies

  • Zimara Fundability Scorecard to improve your investment appeal

  • Expert advisory from venture capitalists, bankers, and industry leaders

  • Strategic introductions to offtakers, buyers, accelerators, and investors

  • Visibility through media and branding via FCMB and Heave Ventures channels

  • Continued post-program support for funding and business development opportunities (

 

Step-by-Step: How to Apply

  1. Gather Required Documents
    – Business registration records
    – A well-prepared pitch deck
    – Evidence of traction or steady revenue
    – Founder(s)’ profile(s)

  2. Visit the Application Portal
    Go to the official application portal:
    cohortone.zimara.org
    (Some sources mention on.fcmb.com/AgricTech-Hackathon as the link, but the more consistent and likely accurate link is cohortone.zimara.org.)

  3. Complete & Submit Your Application

    • Fill in all required fields, upload your documents, and submit before or on September 12, 2025.

  4. Post-Submission Process

    • Your application will be assessed using the Zimara Fundability Scorecard between September 12–26, 2025 (per one source)

    • If selected, you’ll join the October 1–31, 2025 bootcamp, leading up to the Demo Day on November 7, 2025.
