The Encourage Science Initiative (ESI) Undergraduate Research Grant 2025 provides financial support to STEM undergraduates in Nigerian universities to conduct their final-year research projects. The grant aims to foster innovation, build research capacity, and empower young scholars in STEM.
Eligibility
STEM undergraduates in Nigerian universities
Must be in final year by the application deadline
Must have at least a Second Class Upper CGPA
Must provide a personal statement (max. 250 words) outlining project details, justification, and budget (≤ ₦100,000)
Must submit a supporting letter from the supervisor.
Benefit
Grant of up to ₦100,000 to support final-year undergraduate research projects.
How Long Will the Award Last?
One-time grant for the duration of the final-year research project (Sept 2025 – Feb 2026).
