Nigerian Firm Launches Herbal Toothpaste with Wealth Creation Initiative
Share

An indigenous health and wellness company, Nature’s Renaissance International (NRI), has introduced two new oral care products into the Nigerian market — UATD Eyi toothpaste for adults and UATD Eyi children’s toothpaste.

The adult variant is produced with natural ingredients including charcoal and herbal extracts, while the children’s version comes in strawberry and grape flavours. NRI described the products as part of its commitment to providing locally sourced solutions to health challenges in Nigeria.

At the launch event in Lagos, the company also unveiled a consumer empowerment programme called *Paste4Alert*. Under the initiative, every toothpaste purchase of N3,000 will be rewarded with a N5,000 cash alert within 24 hours. The company explained that the move is designed both to promote the widespread use of the product and to create additional income opportunities for buyers.

Speaking at the event, the company’s founder said the organisation was established to use indigenous herbal products to address Africa’s health challenges. He highlighted that the charcoal-based adult toothpaste offers more than oral hygiene benefits, noting that it also provides a calming effect on users.

Through the Paste4Alert initiative, NRI aims to combine health innovation with wealth creation, positioning its new products not only as oral care solutions but also as tools for financial empowerment.
