Call For Applications: Lagos Agrithon 2025 For Agripreneurs and Innovators (Up to N150 Million Funding Pool)

Lagos Agrithon 2025 (N150m Fund for Agripreneurs)

Are you reimagining the future of food and agriculture?
We’re calling on bold agripreneurs and innovators with fresh ideas to transform Nigeria’s agriculture sector. Apply for a chance to access funding from a ₦150 million pool to scale your solution and drive real impact.

Priority Areas:
* Cold chain and storage solutions
* Climate-smart and sustainable farming practices
* Smart farming (hydroponics, aeroponics, greenhouse, precision ag)
* Waste-to-value and circular economy solutions
* Digital platforms, ag-finance, and market linkage innovations
* Farm equipment design and local fabrication.
* Innovative Product Development
* Any other breakthrough solution improving efficiency, sustainability, or access in agriculture.

 Registration Period: 23rd August – 8th September 2025

Participants must pay attention to the following:
•    Business must be 1+ years with evidence of MVP or verifiable sales.
•    Founder must be aged 18–40 years
•    Open to startups, innovators, and teams working in agribusiness or food systems
•    Must be based in Lagos or have a project impacting Lagos agrifood systems
•    Must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
•    Must be registered with the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASSRA)
•    Must have an innovative solution addressing a critical challenge in agriculture or food systems

Evaluation Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated based on:

•    Innovation – Uniqueness and creativity of the solution
•    Feasibility – Practicality within the Nigerian agricultural context
•    Scalability – Potential to reach and impact many stakeholders
•    Supply Chain & Logistics – Solutions for storage, transport, and distribution
•    Sustainability – Alignment with sustainable agricultural practices
•    Market Viability – Clear business model and market growth potential
•    Presentation – Clarity, confidence, and effective communication

Incomplete or non-compliant submissions will not be considered.
Your Video Pitch must clearly reflect your area of expertise and the solution you are presenting. Kindly read the description and evaluation criteria again to ensure your submission aligns with what you will be assessed
Applicants must also ensure that both the Video Pitch and Pitch Deck are correctly prepared, submitted in the right format, and easily accessible for review.
