Call for Applications: Nisa Global Foundation African Initiative Grants 2025

The Nisa Global Foundation is inviting applications for its African Initiative Grants. This program is designed to strengthen local organizations in Africa that are working to address pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges at the grassroots level.

Funding
Grant amounts vary based on project scope and sustainability. Support is provided for both new pilot initiatives and for scaling up proven solutions with demonstrated impact.

Eligible Applicants
Applications are open to African-based non-profit organizations, youth-led groups, women’s associations, and social enterprises. Applicants must demonstrate proven community engagement and the capacity to implement effective, impactful projects.

Eligible Countries
The initiative covers the African continent, supporting organizations in different regions and contexts.

Program Focus
The foundation supports projects that foster community resilience, economic empowerment, environmental protection, gender equality, and social innovation. Proposals must clearly outline expected outcomes and strategies for sustainability.

Deadline
Applications are currently open, with the closing date 31 December 2027 with yearly specific timelines
