Call For Applications: Sustainable Innovation Seed Accelerator
Share

The Sustainable Innovation Seed Accelerator is designed for early-stage founders developing tech-enabled solutions in core sustainability sectors: agriculture, mobility, built environment, and energy. We believe these industries hold the key to a more climate-resilient, inclusive future and we’re backing the founders who are building it.

As part of UNDP’s timbuktoo initiative this 8-week program will take place in the GreenTech Hub in Nairobi (4 weeks in person, 4 weeks hybrid). The program helps startups refine their commercial strategy, strengthen their technical foundation, and connect with a supportive ecosystem. Through a mix of mentorship, peer learning, and hands-on programming, the goal is simple: help founders develop their ideas into scalable, sustainability-driven businesses.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Building at the seed stage in Africa for the African market
  • Launched or recently introduced your product(s) and ready to grow
  • Tech or tech-enabled business models
  • Driven by a mission to create sustainable impact
  • Ready to join us in person in Nairobi for 4 weeks out of the 8 weeks

Benefits

  • Hands-on guidance through 1:1 office hours with both commercial and technical experts in the sustainability field
  • Engaging workshops, bi-weekly roundtables, and fireside chats with industry leaders to refine your growth strategies.
  • Valuable connections with fellow founders, local ecosystem partners, and potential customers through cohort activities and networking events.
  • 3-day, 2-night retreat to reset and refocus on leadership, wellness, team building, and impact-driven discussions.

Application Deadline: 19th September,2025
