Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation Scholarship 2026

The Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation (RTEF) invites applications for its 2026 Scholarship Programme, designed to support outstanding students across Nigeria in achieving their educational dreams. Committed to making quality education a fundamental right rather than a privilege, the Foundation offers scholarships to students enrolled in secondary schools, polytechnics, vocational institutes, and tertiary institutions (undergraduate and postgraduate) within the country.

This scholarship is a vital opportunity for passionate learners who are determined to excel academically but require financial support to pursue their goals.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a Nigerian citizen.

• Be currently enrolled in a secondary school, vocational or technical school, polytechnic, or university (undergraduate or postgraduate level).

• Possess a strong academic record and demonstrate a commitment to their studies.

• Show a clear passion for education and academic advancement.

• Be under the age of 25.

• Submit a complete application before the deadline.

• *Final-year undergraduates are also eligible to apply.*

Benefits of the RTEF Scholarship 2026

Selected scholars will receive comprehensive financial support to ease their educational journey, including:

• Tuition allowance of up to ₦100,000

• Maintenance allowance of ₦15,000 – ₦20,000

• Additional allowances for internal travel costs, research, or fieldwork expenses (at the discretion of the scholarship committee)

Required Documents

Applicants must be ready to submit the following:

• Personal details

• Parents’ or guardian’s details

• Address information

• Latest academic results

• Reference letters

• Short essays outlining academic goals, motivations for applying, and reasons for deserving the scholarship

Application Timeline

• Application opens: 1st October 2025

• Application closes: 31st October 2025

• Shortlisted candidates contacted: 11th November 2025

•Online interviews: December 2025

• Scholarship awards: Following successful interviews

Interested and eligible candidates should visit the scholarship webpage to begin their application.

1. Click on the “Apply” button and select your education level.

2. Complete and submit the online application form, including your latest school result, two reference letters, a personal statement, and any supporting documents.

3. Email all supporting documents to [undergrad.grants@ruthtitilayofoundation.org] with your full name as the email subject.
