D-Prize New Social Impact Ventures ( Up to $20,000 Funding)
Share

D-Prize is inviting aspiring entrepreneurs to apply for seed funding of up to $20,000 to launch new organizations focused on proven poverty solutions. The program supports innovative ventures ready to scale access to interventions in areas such as health, education, agriculture, and livelihoods.

Why It Matters
Millions of people still lack access to basic, life-improving solutions that already exist in the world. D-Prize aims to close this gap by empowering new entrepreneurs to distribute these solutions in underserved communities. By funding early-stage founders, especially from low- and middle-income countries, D-Prize helps build organizations that can drive large-scale social and economic change.

Eligibility Requirements

  • New or yet-to-be-launched organizations
  • First-time entrepreneurs are strongly encouraged
  • Applicants who have not raised significant funding or begun full operations
  • Open to for-profit, non-profit, and NGO models
  • Particularly encourages founders from low- and middle-income countries

Application Process

Round 1: Submit a two-page concept note and resume
Round 2: Top 5% respond to additional written questions
Final Round: Phone and email interviews
Awards: Top 1% receive up to $20,000 and begin piloting their ventures

Timeline

  • Global Competition Launch: 13 October 2025
  • Early Deadline: 23 November 2025 (Midnight PT)
  • Regular Deadline: 14 December 2025 (Midnight PT)
  •  Extension Deadline: 4 January 2026 (Midnight PT)
