Young Futures Funding Challenge 2025 – Apply Now for Grants up to US$100,000
Share

The Young Futures Funding Challenge 2025 is now open for applications. This funding round supports nonprofit organizations leading innovations at the intersection of AI, youth well-being, learning, creativity, and mental health. The challenge focuses on ideas and programs that help young people aged teens and pre-teens safely, critically, and creatively engage with generative AI.

Organizations selected will receive grants ranging from US$25,000 to US$100,000, with the total funding pool up to US$1 million for this round.

 Focus Themes

Applicants should design solutions addressing one or more of these four themes:

  • Youth-Powered AI: teens building, remixing or challenging AI tools.

  • AI in Learning, Work & Creativity: helping youth use AI without sacrificing originality.

  • AI in Relationships & Mental Health: supporting youth navigating AI companionship or mental health tools.

  • Intergenerational Guidance: empowering adults to support youth in digital/AI spaces.

 Who Can Apply

Eligible applicants include registered nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status or fiscally sponsored projects under that status. Collaborative proposals are encouraged. The projects must be co-designed or co-led with young people, and aim to reach measurable outcomes for youth wellbeing.

 Application Timeline

  • LOI Submission Window: October 8 – 24, 2025.

  • Info Session: October 15, 2025.

  • Full Proposal for Invited Finalists: November 12 – December 1, 2025.

  • Finalists Notified: Early 2026.
