Civil Defence Board Releases Shortlist for Paramilitary Recruitment CBT
Share

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has published the list of shortlisted candidates for its ongoing recruitment exercise across the country’s paramilitary agencies.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by the board’s secretary, retired Major General Abdulmalik Jubril, the shortlisted applicants are to participate in a computer-based test (CBT) as the next phase of the recruitment process.

The affected agencies include the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

The statement advised all applicants to check their application status on the official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng starting from Thursday, October 30, 2025. Candidates can confirm if they have been shortlisted and access details about their CBT venue, date, and time.

Applicants were also cautioned to use only the official website to avoid falling victim to fraudulent links or individuals posing as board representatives.

An earlier report in August revealed that about 1.9 million Nigerians submitted applications for the recruitment before the portal closed on August 11.

This screening process marks a key step toward filling vacant positions across the four paramilitary agencies.
