Call For Applications: Federal Government Student Venture Capital Grant (SVCG) ( ₦50 Million Award)

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Education, has opened the application portal for the Student Venture Capital Grant (S-VCG). This initiative is a key component of the Renewed Hope Agenda and is designed to turn student-led ideas into commercially viable, scalable ventures. The program aims to build a new generation of Nigerian innovators capable of solving national and global challenges.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Student Venture Capital Grant, you must:

• Be a Nigerian student currently enrolled in an accredited tertiary institution (university, polytechnic, or college of education).
• Be working on an innovation capable of addressing critical national or global challenges.
• Submit a proposal with clear potential for scale and commercialization.
• Have a project within the STEMM fields.

• Technology
• Engineering
• Mathematics
• Medical Sciences

Required Documents

Applicants must prepare:

• Proof of student status, including a valid student ID and admission documents.
• A detailed project proposal outlining the problem, proposed solution, market relevance, and scalability plan.
• Information on the founding team and defined roles.

• Step 2: Prepare Your Submission
Develop a strong proposal that highlights market relevance, scalability, and alignment with STEMM.
Gather all required personal, academic, and project-related documents.

• Step 3: Complete Online Application
Fill out the online form on the portal.
Upload your proposal and any required documents.

• Step 4: Receive Free Premium Access
Once your project is successfully submitted, you will receive:
– A one-year free Google Gemini Pro license
