Technovation, in partnership with Generation Unlimited, has opened applications for the AI Ventures Accelerator 2025, a free 12-week virtual program designed to help young women turn their ideas into investor-ready AI startups.

The accelerator provides AI training, startup development support, mentorship, and a chance to win up to $10,000 in equity-free seed funding — making it one of the most accessible opportunities for young innovators in Nigeria, India, Mexico, and the United States.

If you’re a young woman passionate about technology, problem-solving, or launching your first AI-powered business, this is a remarkable opportunity.

What the Program Offers (Benefits)

Participants in the AI Ventures Accelerator receive:

  • Up to $10,000 equity-free funding for selected ventures
  • 12 weeks of intensive AI and entrepreneurship training
  • Hands-on experience in building real AI applications and machine learning models
  • Coaching on human-centered design and business strategy
  • Support from mentors, industry leaders, and successful founders
  • A platform to pitch to investors and partners
  • Free participation — no fees, no equity, no hidden costs

This accelerator is structured to help young women move from idea → prototype → investor-ready AI venture.

Who Can Apply (Eligibility)

The program is designed specifically for:

  • Young women aged 19–24
  • Teams of 2–4 preferred, but solo founders are also welcome
  • Must currently reside in Nigeria, India, Mexico, or the USA
  • Must have a problem you want to solve using AI
  • No prior technical experience is required — beginners can apply
  • Ability to commit 10–15 hours per week for 12 weeks

Whether your idea is in education, health, climate, finance, agriculture, or social impact, you are eligible as long as AI can be part of the solution.

Program Format & Duration

  • Format: 100% Virtual / Remote
  • Duration: 12 Weeks
  • Cost: Free
  • Time Commitment: 10–15 hours per week

The accelerator teaches AI fundamentals, product design, business modelling, pitching, and investor readiness.

Prepare to share:

  • Your idea
  • Team details (if any)
  • Your motivation
  • The problem you want to solve

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is recommended.

Why This Matters

Globally, women are significantly underrepresented in AI and technology leadership. The AI Ventures Accelerator is one of the few programs specifically designed to change that — giving young women the skills, confidence, and funding they need to build AI startups that can transform economies, especially across Africa.
