These roles provide paid, hands-on experience across core functions like supply chain, IT, operations, finance, and geoscience — ideal for students and recent graduates looking to break into the oil & gas / energy tech sector.

Why This Internship Is Valuable

  • Access structured internship programs that can lead to full-time employment.
  • Work on critical business functions — supply chain management, operations, and technology — giving you a solid foundation for your career.
  • Develop technical, analytical, and project-management skills in a multi-national environment.

Available Roles & Internships

Here are some of the internship tracks currently reported for SLB Nigeria:

  • Supply Chain Internship: Students working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, or related fields can intern in procurement, logistics, warehouse management, and material planning.

  • Operations Internship: Interns may work on live projects in operations, including field work and supporting core business operations.
  • Geoscience & Petrotechnical Internship: For students in geology, physics, or petroleum engineering, this role offers exposure to technical exploration and subsurface projects.
  • Accounting & Finance Internship: Interns work within the finance team to support accounting, tax, and financial reporting.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply:

  • You should be a student or recent graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Geoscience, Business, IT).
  • Demonstrated academic performance or interest in your chosen area.
  • Prepared to work on-site in Nigeria (depending on the internship).
  • Availability for the duration of the internship (varies by program).

Internship Duration & Compensation

  • Duration ranges from several months up to 12 months for certain roles (as per the supply chain internship).
  • Paid internship: according to early-career program descriptions, interns receive a monthly stipend.

How to Apply

  1. Check the Schlumberger Careers Portal for “Early Careers / Internships” or relevant job listings in Nigeria.
  2. Prepare your CV, cover letter, academic transcripts, and any relevant project work.
  3. Apply for the role of interest (Supply Chain, IT, Operations, etc.) via the job listing.
  4. Submit as early as possible — SLB’s internship positions are competitive.
  5. Monitor your email for updates on interviews, assessments, or selection.

Tips to Strengthen Your Application

  • Highlight relevant coursework, academic projects, or part-time work related to your field.
  • Explain why you want to intern at Schlumberger — mention technology, energy, or operations interest.
