Seven-Up has taken a fresh step toward nurturing young innovators with its Green Skills Bootcamp, a training initiative designed to equip students with the knowledge and capacity to develop sustainable ideas and solutions. The programme aims to inspire participants to build practical innovations that address climate concerns, promote environmental responsibility and contribute to a greener future.
During the training, participants were exposed to sessions on design thinking, problem-solving, sustainability concepts and how to transform ideas into viable projects that can scale into businesses. The bootcamp also created a platform for collaboration, allowing students to pitch their concepts, interact with mentors and gain feedback for improvement.
Beyond capacity building, the initiative reflects growing corporate interest in climate-positive development and the need for young people to play an active role in environmental innovation. Organisers noted that empowering young thinkers early helps strengthen the future workforce and opens a pathway to jobs and entrepreneurship in the evolving green economy.
Students expressed enthusiasm about the experience, noting that the programme helped them understand how sustainability links to business growth. With more attention shifting to circular economy practices and clean innovation, the bootcamp signals a commitment to raise a new generation of environmental innovators who can transform ideas into impact.
