Lafarge Africa Plc invites suitably certified Ordinary National Diploma holders for admission into an eighteen-month multi-skilled vocational coaching program covering the next technical disciplines:

  • Maintenance Processes, I.e., Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation and Automation /Welding and Fabrication Technology.
  • Cement Manufacturing Processes, I.e., Production / Process and Quality.

The program is designed to coach and equip profitable candidates with the talents and perspective to be self-employed/employable within the vocational areas listed above. It is an 18-month technical intensive coaching scheme by which profitable candidates will get pleasure from tuition-free lectures, rigorous hands-on classes and a token allowance to offset out of pocket bills.

Why this programme matters

Nigeria’s industrial sector requires skilled technical professionals to drive productivity, safety, and innovation. This programme helps bridge the skills gap by providing young people with practical vocational training, exposure to real industrial environments, and the technical confidence needed to secure employment or start a trade-based career. By investing in skills development, Lafarge is contributing to workforce development, youth empowerment, and sustainable industrial growth.

Requirements

  • Completion of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from an acknowledged institution.
  • Minimum of 5 O-Level credits to incorporate English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and some other topic (in not more than 2 sittings).
