The 2025 Abuja Business Investment Expo is poised to attract more than 500 high-level participants from 40 countries, positioning Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as a rising global investment hub.
Scheduled for October 22–25 at the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, the event will be hosted by the Abuja Investment Company Limited (AICL), with the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, serving as Chief Host.
Themed “Empowering Sustainable Growth: Unlocking Potential in Emerging Markets,” the four-day expo will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, business matchmaking sessions, debates, and strategic networking opportunities designed to connect businesses with potential partners and investors.
Speaking ahead of the event, AICL Group Managing Director/CEO, Dr. Maureen Tamuno, said the summit would spotlight Abuja’s vast economic and investment potential, encourage public-private partnerships, and link local entrepreneurs with international investors. She added that the expo would provide practical solutions to the unique challenges facing emerging markets.
“This initiative is part of a broader strategy to position Abuja as a hub for sustainable urban development and economic diversification,” Dr. Tamuno noted.
For MSMEs and startups across Africa, the expo offers a rare opportunity to gain visibility before global investors, explore international market linkages, and exchange ideas on building resilient, future-ready businesses in fast-growing economies.
