The highly anticipated Africa SME Assembly 2025 (ASA 2025 will be held this August in Lagos, Nigeria, bringing together Africa’s most visionary entrepreneurs, ecosystem enablers, investors, and policymakers under the theme: “Emerging Technology for Africa’s Business Growth.

Powered by Strategic Partners Like Liquify Africa ( Headline Sponsor),  eTranzact, Credo, Pocketmoni, Pillers, Paystack & others . ASA 2025 is proudly supported by eTranzact, Africa’s leading digital payment solution provider. eTranzact’s involvement brings credibility and capacity to the Assembly’s broader goal of enabling frictionless commerce and digitized financial access for SMEs. More sponsors and ecosystem partners will be announced in the coming weeks.

ASA 2025 is not just another conference — it’s a pan-African convergence for business transformation, focused on bridging gaps in funding, innovation, policy, and infrastructure. Over 1,000 business leaders from across the continent are expected to attend, positioning this year’s edition as the most impactful gathering yet.

This Assembly is a strategic space where growth-minded African businesses can access real opportunities, real networks, and real results,” said Treasure Enyinnaya David, Convener of ASA. “We are building the continent’s most trusted community for digital-first SMEs.”

A Platform Built for Action

Attendees will experience an immersive 1-day program that includes:

  • Insight-packed keynotes and fireside chats
  • Tradefair and Exhibitions
  • Sector-focused workshops
  • A dedicated Policy & Innovation Roundtable

And a post-event accelerator to support selected SMEs with capital access, business structuring, and export readiness.

Why ASA 2025 Is a Continental Imperative

With SMEs contributing over 90% of business activity across Africa, ASA 2025 is designed to be a continental catalyst — offering business owners pathways to *scale digitally, access capital, and compete globally.

Partnering institutions like the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), SMEDAN, Bank of Industry, and several Chambers of Commerce are already working closely with the ASA team to identify, mobilize, and support high-potential SMEs — with export-ready financing and structured post-event programming.

Now Open: ₦1.5 Million Grant for Bold Founders

In line with its mission to remove financial barriers to opportunity, the Africa SME Assembly has launched a ₦1.5 million Grant fund to support 200 bold, impact-driven founders with access to the Assembly.

The grant is open to entrepreneurs across Africa who are building scalable businesses and desire to be in such a space, to connect with funders, investors, policy makers and fellow entrepreneurs. Successful applicants will receive full or partial access sponsorship, throughout the program.
