Afrinvest Rebrands Digital Investment Platform to PlutusNeo, Aims to Broaden Wealth Access
Share

Afrinvest has announced the rebranding of its digital investment platform, formerly known as Optimus by Afrinvest, to PlutusNeo by Afrinvest, marking a strategic step in the firm’s digital expansion and focus on broadening access to wealth creation.

Launched in 2022, the platform was designed to provide individuals with secure, convenient access to Afrinvest-managed investment products through a modern digital interface. Over the past few years, it has become a trusted channel for Nigerians seeking professionally managed investment solutions, leveraging Afrinvest’s more than 30 years of experience in Nigeria’s capital markets.

Speaking on the rebrand, Managing Director of PlutusNeo by Afrinvest, Ayodeji Ebo, said the move positions the platform for long-term growth. He explained that while Optimus marked a key phase in the company’s digital journey, PlutusNeo represents an evolution designed to support sustainable wealth creation for a wider audience and reflects Afrinvest’s vision for a more connected digital ecosystem over time.

Group Managing Director of Afrinvest, Ike Chioke, highlighted that the platform embodies the firm’s commitment to inclusive wealth creation. He noted that Afrinvest’s decades of experience navigating multiple market cycles have informed its disciplined, long-term approach to investing, now extended to a broader audience through PlutusNeo.

The rebrand signals Afrinvest’s continued effort to make professional investment solutions accessible to more Nigerians, empowering individuals across income levels to participate meaningfully in building wealth.
