Agribusiness experts have empowered young people in Delta State through a strategic business training programme designed to equip them with wealth creation skills ahead of the Christmas season.
The initiative, themed “Make Money This Christmas Selling Chicken,” was held on Monday at SkySenx Hub, Mosheshe Estate, Warri.
Convened under The Alfred Ukane Effect in partnership with Chuvaak Group and The March Initiative, the training featured leading agribusiness professionals including Okonkwo Jones (CEO, De Darls Farms), Israel Ogisi (CEO, Mogisi Farms), Precious Efejuku (CEO, Tajin Farms), and Daniel Mogboruko (CEO, Marich Agro).
The experts shared practical strategies on leveraging poultry farming particularly the sale and supply of chicken and eggs to drive increased income generation during the festive period.
Participants described the program as highly impactful, noting that it exposed them to new revenue streams, improved business strategies, and opportunities that can yield significant income during the yuletide season.
Convener and keynote speaker, Mr. Alfred Ukane, said the initiative was driven by a passion to empower young people and contribute to community development.
According to him, “This program was not for personal gain. It was to empower youths and add value to society.”
