Air Peace Launches Direct Abuja–London Flights, Round Trip Fares Start at ₦1 Million

Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, has announced the commencement of direct flight bookings from Abuja to London Heathrow and London Gatwick, with round-trip fares starting at ₦1 million. This marks a bold expansion in its international operations and a significant milestone in Nigerian aviation.

According to a statement released by the airline’s spokesperson, Efe Osifo-Whiskey, the new routes will officially launch on October 26, 2025,making Air Peace the first Nigerian carrier to operate direct flights from Abuja to both of London’s major international airports.

The airline said the development will offer greater flexibility and convenience for travelers, particularly those connecting from any of its domestic hubs across Nigeria.

With through-ticketing now enabled, passengers flying from cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Benin, Warri, Owerri, Kano, Yola, Gombe, and Asaba can book a single ticket and travel seamlessly to London via Abuja, without the need for multiple bookings or rechecking baggage.

“This new offering provides a distinct competitive advantage, allowing passengers to choose their preferred points of entry and exit between Nigeria and the United Kingdom with ease,” the airline noted.

Air Peace described the move as part of its mission to challenge the status quo and raise standards in African aviation. The airline emphasized that the ₦1 million round-trip fare includes a generous baggage allowance, making the route both affordable and value-driven.

“This latest offer is yet another bold step in democratising international air travel for Nigerians,” the statement added.

Air Peace has been expanding steadily on the global stage and now sets its sights on becoming a dominant force in regional and international aviation, responding to the long-standing demand for more direct and cost-effective global travel options for Nigerians.
