ALERT Microfinance Bank has unveiled its latest initiative aimed at bolstering the operations of business owners with the introduction of free Point of Sales (POS) terminals.

In a statement released by the financial institution, the move underscores ALERT’s dedication to providing comprehensive support to entrepreneurs, enabling them to streamline their operations and focus on business growth.

Hachem Bdier, Chief Operating Officer at ALERT Microfinance Bank, highlighted the bank’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs through this initiative. He stated, “With the launch of free POS terminals, we are taking a significant step towards simplifying payment processes for entrepreneurs, allowing them to focus on what they do best – running their businesses. We are committed to continuing our efforts to support our customers and drive their success.”

Bdier emphasized that ALERT MFB acknowledges the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in receiving payments efficiently, leading to the development of a solution that addresses this critical pain point.

He expressed confidence that the introduction of free POS terminals would empower entrepreneurs to enhance their customer experience by offering instant settlement solutions for both merchants and agents.

Furthermore, Bdier highlighted the additional benefits of ALERT’s POS terminals, including the ability for entrepreneurs to maintain accurate and up-to-date transaction records effortlessly, thereby facilitating better financial management.

Bdier elaborated, “The POS terminals accept a wide range of debit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, and Verve, providing customers with flexibility and convenience in their payment options. Furthermore, the introduction of chargeback requests adds another layer of security and convenience for entrepreneurs, ensuring that they have the necessary tools to manage payment disputes effectively.”

ALERT Microfinance Bank reaffirmed its commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions through the launch of free POS terminals. By revolutionizing payment processes, ALERT aims to foster entrepreneurial growth and success, further solidifying its position as a key player in Nigeria’s financial landscape.
