Share

Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a respected elder statesman, extended his heartfelt condolences to Governor Babagana Zulum, the government, and the people of Borno State following the devastating floods in Maiduguri. He expressed particular sympathy for those who lost loved ones in the disaster.

During his visit, Dantata expressed concern over the deteriorating state of Nigeria’s economy, urging political leaders and the elite to repent and approach their duties with the fear of Allah. He also prayed for peace and harmony in Borno State and Nigeria as a whole.

In response, Governor Zulum expressed profound gratitude to Dantata for his compassion, acknowledging the elder statesman as a powerful symbol of hope for flood victims and the people of Borno. Zulum added, “The people of Borno deeply appreciate this show of humanity by a 96-year-old to visit us. Let me say it, Our Baba had donated the sum of ₦1.5 billion to support the flood victims. May Allah bless and reward you with Aljannah. Mu gode, Baba.”

This generous donation and Dantata’s visit have provided significant relief and moral support to the flood-affected community.
