Apply Now: Fate Foundation Road to Growth Program (Cohort 6) for Women Entrepreneurs
Share

Female entrepreneurs in Nigeria face unique challenges when it comes to scaling their businesses, from access to finance to balancing family responsibilities. The Road to Growth Programme (Cohort 6), organised by the FATE School of Entrepreneurship in partnership with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and supported by the ExxonMobil Foundation, is here to change that.

This free 9-week blended training programme is designed to equip women in Ogun State with the knowledge, tools, and networks needed to grow sustainable businesses. To make participation even easier, child care services will be provided throughout the program.

Program Benefits

  • Practical training on business management, finance, and growth strategies
  • Mentorship and networking opportunities with experienced business leaders
  • Supportive community of women entrepreneurs facing similar challenges
  • Child care services during training sessions, helping participants stay fully engaged

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be women entrepreneurs running a business in Ogun State
  • Open to SMEs at different growth stages, provided the founder is actively managing operations

Duration

  • Programme runs from October 6 to December 4, 2025
  • Format: 9 weeks of blended learning (in-person and online sessions)

Application Deadline

  • Monday, September 30, 2025

Guidance for Applicants

  • Be clear about your business model: Show how your business generates revenue and its potential for growth.
  • Highlight your leadership role: The programme is focused on empowering women in decision-making positions.
  • Prepare evidence of your business operations: Sales records, customer base, or growth milestones will strengthen your application.
  • Plan for active participation: The programme requires commitment across its duration, so ensure your availability.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official application page: www.thefateschool.org/R2G
  2. Complete the application form with your personal and business details
  3. Submit before the deadline: September 30, 2025

This initiative offers not just training, but also a supportive environment that addresses real barriers faced by women entrepreneurs. If you are a woman running a business in Ogun State, this is your chance to prepare for the next stage of growth.
