Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA in Alimosho Local Government has forged a partnership with Timiemma Solar Academy to conduct a youth empowerment program focused on renewable energy and solar power systems.

Bolatito Sobowale, the convener of the renewable energy and solar power systems empowerment training, sponsored this initiative with the aim of enhancing youths’ access to renewable energy, fostering job opportunities, and creating wealth.

The program’s mission is geared towards empowering participants to become future-oriented renewable energy entrepreneurs. It aims to equip them with installation and marketing skills essential for establishing a credible presence in the renewable energy industry.

Timilehin Akerele, the Chief Executive Officer of Timiemma Solar Academy, stressed the significance of this opportunity for the participants to acquire new skills and knowledge in the field.

The one-week training program drew 35 participants from 5 wards of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA. Its success stands as a testament to the Chairman’s commitment to prioritizing youth empowerment and wealth creation within the community.

This collaborative effort between Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA and Timiemma Solar Academy underscores the concerted efforts to equip young individuals with essential skills in the renewable energy sector, promoting economic growth and self-sustainability.
