Call for Application: Apply Now for the £30,000 (Commonwealth Foundation Grant to Empower Civil Society Projects)

The Commonwealth Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2025 Grants Programme, offering awards of up to £30,000 for projects lasting up to two years. This grant supports civil society organizations across Commonwealth countries, facilitating constructive engagement between these groups and decision-makers.

 

Key Details:

– Host: Commonwealth Foundation

– Eligibility: Civil society organizations (CSOs) registered in Commonwealth member states

– Grant Amount:£30,000

– No IELTS Required

– Application Deadline: October 24, 2024

Grant Objectives:

The Commonwealth Foundation grants aim to enhance civil society’s role in policy development and implementation, focusing on three priority themes: Health Justice, Freedom of Expression, and Climate Justice.

Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify for the 2025 Commonwealth Grant Programme, applicants must:

  1. Be a not-for-profit CSO with at least three years of experience in participatory governance and advocacy.
  2. Address one or more of the Foundation’s priority themes.
  3. Propose projects expected to begin between August 1, 2025, and September 30, 2025.

Application Process:

  2. Register: Sign up with SurveyMonkey Apply to submit your proposal.
