Call For Applications: AfCFTA Research Grant for Final-Year Economics Students (Up to 2 Million Naira)

The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Research Grant is now open for applications. We are pleased to offer up to 2 Million Naira in research support to final-year Economics students in Nigeria whose research aligns with AfCFTA’s vision for Africa’s economic integration.

Objective:
The AfCFTA Research Grant aims to promote research and analysis on topics related to the African Continental Free Trade Area. The grant seeks to support final-year Economics students in Nigeria who are conducting research on AfCFTA-related topics.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for the AfCFTA Research Grant, applicants must:

– Be final-year Economics students in a Nigerian university
– Conduct research on topics related to the AfCFTA
– Submit a research proposal that aligns with AfCFTA’s vision for Africa’s economic integration

Application Deadline:
The application deadline for the AfCFTA Research Grant is April 4, 2025.

Grant Details:
The AfCFTA Research Grant will provide up to 2 Million Naira in research support to successful applicants. The grant is designed to support research costs, including data collection, literature review, and research assistance.
