YOUNGO is organizing a session to address one of the impending needs of African Youth to accelerate climate actions; which is access to financing. Are you an African Youth with a Climate Project that requires funding then this opportunity is for you.
This event will provide a platform for youth to showcase their climate projects that require immediate funding and for funders in the room to introduce themselves and connect with them. The main aim is to put forward viable youth-led climate projects, share their best practices, and identify the needs and gaps for funding.
Eligibility
This call for interest is being circulated to select around 7-10 youth projects.
The projectshall be selected based on a set of criteria.
You are a member of a youth-climate-led movement or aged between 18-35 years old.
Have a project with a duration of 3 years or more.
Demonstrate prior experience in similar projects and/or provide a long-term strategy for the project idea
Is able to share the project proposal and budget with the team and funders
Produce a 2-minutes documentary on the project idea (a longer than 2 minutes video will be rejected). It has to be engaging for the audience.
