The bi-annual Allard Photography Competition is an esteemed contest that celebrates photographic excellence aligned with the core values of the Allard Prize.
Photographers are encouraged to submit their entries throughout the year. The submissions should encompass themes that resonate with courage and leadership in the battle against corruption, with a primary focus on advancing transparency, accountability, the rule of law, and human rights, while also addressing corruption and human rights violations in developed nations.
Prize
- Each distinguished winning photograph will be honored with a prize of CAD $1,000 and will be prominently showcased on the Allard Prize website.
- Accompanied by a concise description and the photographer’s name, the photograph will grace the website for a duration of six months.
Eligibility
- Open to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their country of residence at the time of entry.
- Members of the Allard Prize Photography Competition Jury, the Allard Prize Committee and the Allard Prize Advisory Board are not eligible to participate during their terms as Jury, Committee or Advisory Board members and for one year following the end of their terms.
Requirements
- Accepted file types: jpg, png, jpeg, Max. file size: 512 MB, Max. files: 4.
- Horizontal images should be at least 1180 pixels wide and vertical images should be at least 740 pixels tall. There should be no borders on the image files; no white or black framing.
