Call For Applications: Aurora Tech Award 2025 for Women Founders of Tech Startups ($85,000 prize fund)
Share

The Aurora Tech Award is an annual global prize for women founders of tech startups. They believe in breaking down barriers and promoting equality in tech entrepreneurship.

Women entrepreneurs in IT face challenges like investor bias, stereotypes, and a lack of role models, limiting their representation. According to Crunchbase, only 2.3% of venture funding goes to women-led startups. And Aurora is here to change that! Their mission is to discover hidden gems among startups led by women, providing the support they need to shine brightly.

They invite you to participate this year and level up your product’s potential along the way. They are interested in your company and your journey as a founder. Join the Aurora Tech Award and become a role model for women in IT worldwide.

Eligibility

To participate, your startup is required to:

  • Be founded or co-founded and led by a woman;
  • Have a functional prototype of a product;
  • Fit in the investment limit of $4 million in funding, including the seed round;
  • Be less than 5 years old.

Benefits

  • Cash prizes for an extended winners list:
    • First prize: $30,000
    • Second prize: $20,000
    • Third prize: $15,000
    • Fourth prize: $10,000
    • Fifth prize: $10,000
  • Guidance from inDrive’s executives and industry experts for the shortlisted participants.
