Call For Applications: AWN Investment Readiness Program for Women-led Businesses

This program is designed for women-led businesses seeking support to achieve growth and scalability. It is specifically targeted at startups and businesses that:
– require smart funding; investments, capacity building, and strategic linkages.
– are committed to actively participating in the program’s activities and initiatives.

What To Expect:
– Understanding what investment readiness means
– Identification of mentorship needs and linkages to qualified mentors
– Familiarization with the terminologies and documentation required to prepare for investments
– Networking with peers and subject matter experts that will assist towards business validation/refinement.
– Looking at your business like an outsider
– Preparation of investment brief (winning pitch deck) and mock sessions to fine-tune them
– Confidence building for seamless investment conversations
– Learning about growth opportunities and market access
– Building stronger business propositions and access to qualified investors for investments on mutually beneficial terms
– Access to a post-program knowledge centre with investment documentation templates
– Being a part of a network of women supporting women and “Hes for Shes” to continually gain and pay forward
