The AYA Innovation Challenge invites technology-driven firms and start-ups to develop digital health solutions focused on managing diabetes and hypertension in Ghana. Hosted by Innohub under the AYA‑Integrated Healthcare Initiative, the programme targets scalable solutions that enhance patient self-care, data monitoring and provider engagement.
The winning innovation will receive a grant of €100,000, pilot implementation in the Ashanti Region in partnership with the Ghana Health Service, and potential for national rollout.
Who Should Apply
- Registered firms, start-ups or innovators with a digital health solution (software, app, platform) that addresses diabetes or hypertension.
- Solutions must be scalable, compatible with the Ghana Health Service infrastructure, and demonstrate ability to pilot in the Ashanti Region.
- Both local and international applicants may apply, provided there is a plan for local implementation and capacity transfer.
