The Cassava Change-Makers Pitch Competition invites Nigerian youth to submit game-changing ideas under the theme:
“Youth-Led Innovations for a Sustainable Cassava Future.”
This competition is part of the Agbeyewa initiative and will take place during the World Cassava Day celebrations in Abuja.
Focus Areas:
We are looking for innovative concepts that fall within these core areas:
Production innovations that increase yield and reduce labor requirements.
Technologies that enhance efficiency, lower energy use, and enable new product development.
Market solutions that link value chain actors and improve consumer awareness and demand.
Eligibility Requirements
Open only to Nigerian youth aged 18–35.
Applicants must be available to attend.
World Cassava Day in Abuja on June 28, 2025, if selected as a finalist.
Submissions must be original and based on real challenges in Nigeria’s cassava value chain.
Submission Guidelines
Prepare a 5-slide pitch deck explaining your concept, including background, problem, solution, implementation strategy, and expected outcomes.
Introduce yourself and your idea in a short video.
Upload and share the link to your pitch with your application.
