Ennovate Ventures TheNextFund for Disruptive Companies East Africa 2024 (up to $100,000)

TheNextFund is a bespoke venture capital-ready program that is investing in the most promising tech and tech-enabled startups across East Africa.

The hybrid-curated program offers personalized venture building and investment-readiness technical assistance to high-growth startups, with the potential to become category kings and yield high returns for investors. The program is betting on founders who believe they are crazy enough to change the world, as Ennovate Ventures is crazy enough to join you on the mission of building incredible solutions for Africa’s market.

Eligibility

  • Open to post-revenue startups in Tanzania and across East Africa.
  • At least 2 full-time founders and/or an active management team.
  • Verifiable market traction, with relevant data to show business activities.
  • Fully registered business within their local laws.
  • Startup with compelling impact stories.

Benefits

  • Up to 2 startups to receive funding between $20,000 and $100,000 from Ennovate Ventures and their co-investors. Ennovate Ventures is passionate about going the long journey with remarkable founders and helping them reach the top.
  • Up to $150,000 follow-on funding from their investor partners and DFIs.
  • One startup gets a fully funded trip to Cape Town to attend Africa’s largest investor gathering in November.
  • All selected startups have up to $5,000 AWS Credit to support your ventures to scale.
  • Selected startups will have access to Simba Money infrastructure and market access to accelerate their market penetration.
  • Dedicated global venture experts to work with you at a personal level in navigating through your business frictions and enabling you to unlock new milestones.
  • All selected startups will have their investment documentation fully done and shared with our pool of investors.
  • Access to dedicated investor office hours with Africa’s most active investors.
