Call For Applications: Entrepreneurship Exchange Program — Virtual Entrepreneurship Program for Students
Share

If you’re a university student interested in entrepreneurship, building business skills, or solving real-world problems, the Entrepreneurship Exchange offers a fully virtual certificate programme — connecting participants from multiple countries in cross-border teams to build business ideas and gain hands-on entrepreneurial experience.

Because it is fully online, the programme is open to students in participating countries and provides a rare chance for global collaboration and business-idea incubation without needing to relocate.

What the Program Offers

  • Practical Entrepreneurship Training: Modules covering design thinking, building viable businesses, marketing, funding, and pitching to investors.
  • Collaborative, Cross-Cultural Teams: Work in small international teams (across the U.S., Egypt, Morocco, Libya, and other partner institutions) on real-world challenges and business solutions.
  • Flexible Online Format: Weekly live webinars, self-paced learning modules, and team collaboration conducted remotely.
  • Pitch Competition & Awards: Each cohort ends with a video pitch competition. Winning teams receive career coaching and mentoring sessions with experienced coaches and university faculty.
  • Certificate at Completion: Participants receive a certificate of completion, useful for CVs and LinkedIn profiles — beneficial if you’re looking to build a startup or advance in entrepreneurship.

Who Can Apply / Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following:

  • Be an undergraduate student enrolled at a participating university. According to the latest call: eligible institutions include several U.S. universities (e.g. University of Michigan campuses, Michigan State) and selected universities in Morocco, Egypt, and Libya.
  • Any field of study qualifies — the programme welcomes students from all majors.
  • Must commit about 5–7 hours per week over the 8-week cohort duration.
  • Must have access to an internet-connected device (computer/laptop or smartphone) for webinars and team work.

There are no prerequisites of prior entrepreneurial experience.

Program Structure & Timeline

  • Duration: 8 weeks of virtual program per cohort.
  • Upcoming Cohorts for 2026:
    • Cohort 2: January 20 — March 20, 2026
    • Cohort 3: May 4 — June 26, 2026
  • Application Deadline: December 15, 2025

Why It Matters

  • Low-cost, high-value ENTREPRENEURSHIP education: Because it’s virtual and certificate-based, it removes the barrier of high tuition or relocation.
  • Global Collaboration & Networking: Working with peers from diverse countries builds cross-cultural teamwork skills — a plus for founders targeting international or multi-regional markets.
  • Real-world Problem Solving: The focus on civic-minded solutions and market-relevant ideas gives participants the chance to design ventures with social or economic impact.
  • Portfolio Building: The programme ends with a pitch — ideal for building a portfolio or startup pitch that can attract early funding or partners.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official Entrepreneurship Exchange website: entrepreneurship-exchange.org
  2. Complete the application form (provide your personal info, university, motivation, and interest in entrepreneurship)
  3. Wait for selection notification: admissions are rolling, and acceptance is based on application completeness and balanced cohort composition.
  4. If accepted, join your international team and start collaborating when the cohort begins.
