The Cooperative Youth Farmers & Allied Entrepreneurs Program, championed by the Youths Off The Street Initiative (YOTSI) in collaboration with the Nigerian Senate (10th Assembly) Committee on Sports Development, aims to uplift young Nigerians through agriculture-based ventures.

This youth-focused intervention supports the socio-economic empowerment of young people while contributing to the food security agenda led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The program offers access to agricultural training, mentorship, and financial resources to help participants start or expand their agricultural enterprises.

With a target to create six million direct jobs in 2025, this initiative will significantly contribute to reducing poverty, fostering food security, creating mass employment, and promoting national stability.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a Nigerian citizen.
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old.

    • Locate the registration section on the site.
    • Provide a valid email address.
    • Choose a unique username.
    • Set a strong password (at least 8 characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols).
  3. Verify Your Email
    • After submitting your registration details, check your email inbox for a verification message.
    • If you don’t see it, check your spam or junk folder.
    • Click the verification link in the email to activate your account.
  4. Log In and Fill Out Personal Information
    • Log in to your account.
    • Complete the personal information section, including your Lotus Bank Account Number.
    • If you don’t have a Lotus Bank account, open one by visiting ibank.lotusbank.com/account/bvn and following the prompts.
  5. Double-Check Your Entries
    • Ensure all information provided is accurate.
    • Note that once submitted, your profile information cannot be edited. Mistakes may disqualify you from the program.
  6. Monitor Your Email
    • Keep an eye on your inbox for updates and instructions regarding the program.
