Call For Applications: Fidelity GreenTech Innovation Challenge 2024 (GHS 1 million in grants)

Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited, through its Fidelity Young Entrepreneurs Fund (FYEF), has launched the GreenTech Innovation Challenge, which aims to support the development of groundbreaking GreenTech solutions that addresses key challenges within Ghana’s agricultural value chain.

The challenge is designed to foster innovation, empower young entrepreneurs, and enhance the overall efficiency and sustainability of the agricultural sector in Ghana. The challenge offers three tiers of funding and support, designed to nurture ideas from inception through to market expansion. Innohub is the implementation partner for the project.

Focus Areas

  • Precision Agriculture: Solutions enhancing crop monitoring, irrigation, and resource management.
  • Post-Harvest Management: Innovations reducing post-harvest losses and adding value to agricultural products.
  • Digital Financial Services: Fintech solutions improving financial access for farmers.
  • Climate-Smart Agriculture: Technologies promoting sustainable farming practices.
  • Value Chain Optimization: Solutions enhancing efficiency and profitability in agricultural value chains.

Eligibility

  • Male applicants must be between 18 to 40 years old.
  • Female applicants must be between 18 to 45 years old.
  • Applicants must have a cross-functional team with diverse skills relevant to their proposed solution.
  • Solutions should be designed to address agricultural challenges within Ghana.
